NANO-MASTER manufactures Device Testing Systems for mini satellites The NDT-4000 is equipped with computer control, safety interlocks, and multiple levels of access with password restrictions. It can be used to test devices/samples with automated heat and cool cycles for extended periods of time exceeding 36 hours with varying temperature conditions defined by the recipe. One of the common applications of this system would be space simulation. The approximate chamber size is 43" in length and 24" in diameter. A 16"x32" sliding thermal platform can be controlled within ±1 °C across its surface area for temperatures ranging from -100 °C to 150 °C. This platform is mounted on rolls so that it can be pulled out to 75% of its length for loading devices/samples. The chamber has provision for 4x 8" CF flanges that can be configured with an assortment of customer-defined feedthroughs for digital and analog communication, temperature measurement, power, RF, and other instrumentation needs.

NASA Space Launch System (SLS)
NASA is preparing to send CubeSats into deep space in a big way, and the agency’s Space Launch System Secondary Payloads booth will share the details of how. The first launch of the Space Launch System rocket, Exploration Mission 1, will deploy 13 6U CubeSats on a trajectory toward the moon, from which they will perform a wide variety of research, including lunar science, heliophysics, life sciences, and much more. Members of the SLS Secondary Payloads team will share more about SLS, its progress and upcoming first launch; the vehicle’s accommodations for CubeSats and what it will be flying on EM-1; and, most importantly, information about opportunities for CubeSats to fly on future missions.
National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)
The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is a joint Intelligence Community-Department of Defense organization that develops, acquires, launches and operates America's overhead intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance architecture. It operates geospatial and signals intelligence satellites and associated communications systems and ground architecture to provide national decision makers, mission partners, intelligence analysts, and warfighters the critical intelligence data they need for national security. The NRO recognizes the value of SmallSats and is leveraging the concept to augment its capabilities and evolve its operations. NRO uses SmallSats to demonstrate new capabilities in space and mature those technologies rapidly and at relatively low cost, with lower risk than that of larger programs. NRO has launched its own SmallSats as pathfinder experiments and technology demonstrations, and has given other organizations' CubeSats a ride to space as auxiliary payloads on NRO launches.

USAF 18 Space Control Squadron
The U.S. Air Force’s 18th Space Control Squadron (18 SPCS, formerly known as the JSpOC) is responsible for tracking all man-made objects in space and providing Space Situational Awareness to the global community. We track, identify, and catalog all artificial objects in Earth orbit (currently about 25,000 objects), and we screen all active payloads against everything else in the catalog to determine when any other object could come perilously close to them. In the case of a possible conjunction event, we notify the operator of the satellite involved. 18 SPCS provides this and other services at no cost for all satellite operators via our website, www.space-track.org. LauncherOne rockets are made in the USA in Long Beach, California, and are air-launched from a dedicated 747-400 carrier aircraft capable of operating from many locations in order to best serve each customer’s needs.
Virginia Commercial Space Flight Authority (MARS)
MARS is an FAA licensed, fully operational spaceport located at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility on the mid-Atlantic coast. MARS provides low cost access to mid-inclination orbits for small, medium and medium-heavy class ELVs, sub-orbital launchers, RLV launch and landing, and payload recovery. Its location provides unobstructed access to the ISS orbit and is the primary launch site for Antares ISS cargo re-supply services. MARS offers two FAA licensed launch pads, sub-orbital launch rails, vehicle/payload storage and processing facilities, heavy-class horizontal vehicle assembly facility, hypergolic fueling facility, large capacity ELV liquid fueling facility, co-located airport, flexible mission support, and an accommodating schedule for commercial and government aerospace customers. The MARS facilities readily support the Pegasus, Minotaur, Taurus, Athena, Antares and Falcon 9 family of ELVs. Its unique location, capabilities, and cost advantages make it the test, demonstration, and operational launch site of choice for government, commercial, and academic missions.
VORAGO Technologies is a privately held fabless semiconductor company based out of Austin, Texas. VORAGO has created HARDSIL technology to cost-effectively harden CMOS semiconductors against the effects of extreme temperature and radiation and have created a portfolio of SRAM and microcontroller ICs for use in extreme environments such as space.
Because it is possible to create radiation-hardened ICs more inexpensively using HARDSIL than conventional hardening techniques, the VORAGO Technologies VA10820 MCU has been adopted by CubeSat electronics designers as an affordable way to implement a rad-hard solution on a limited CubeSat budget. VORAGO has also created a reference design (the ‘RH-OBC-1’) to make it easy to design the radiation-hardened IC into a CubeSat electronics system and integrate the software.
VPT Rad is an independent radiation laboratory that provides specialized environments and test solutions for evaluating electronics used in aerospace and nuclear applications.
Our in-house Cobalt 60 irradiators offer total ionizing dose (TID) gamma irradiation, high dose rate TID GC-220, low dose rate broad beam TID, and ELDRS analysis. Further capabilities in electrical test measurements include a TESEC 881 Spektra, an LTX-Credence D-10 test system, ST 5300, and a JDI mix signal high precision test system. VPT Rad runs all dosimetry reports and analysis using a state of the art Bruker Biospin Electron Paramagnetic Resonance dosimetry system.
With commercial laboratory suitability approval from the DLA, we perform testing for Test Method 1019 Conditions A, C, and D, and Test Method 1017 per MIL-STD-750 and MIL-STD-883. In addition, VPT Rad also has obtained DLA lab suit for TM 1080 and can support Single Event Tests (SEE).
